The High Holidays are always a very special time of year.

The familiar melodies. The sweetness of apples and honey. The quiet intensity of Kol Nidrei. The sound of the shofar calling us to begin again.

And perhaps most of all, the feeling of being together.

Whether you join us every year, haven't been in a while, or are thinking of coming for the very first time, we would love to welcome you.

Join us at the Chabad Community Center of Evanston, 825 Clark Street, for High Holiday services that are warm, meaningful, uplifting and engaging. Come as you are, bring your family, and experience the beauty and spirit of the Jewish New Year together with your community.

There is no cost to attend services or the holiday dinner; voluntary contributions help sustain our High Holiday services and year-round community programs.

Rosh Hashanah

Friday evening, September 11 through Sunday evening, September 13

• Tashlich: Sunday at 5:00 PM at the Northwestern University Lagoon by the bridge on Campus Dr

📯 This year, the first day of Rosh Hashanah falls on Shabbat, so the shofar will be sounded on Sunday. Come hear its stirring call and welcome the new year together with family, friends and community.

And of course, join us Friday or Saturday night for our community Rosh Hashanah dinner, with delicious holiday food, good company and the warmth of celebrating together. Please RSVP so we can prepare for you.

• Candle Lighting & Fast Begins: 6:31 PM

• Kol Nidre / Opening Service: 6:30 PM

• Morning Service: 9:30 AM

• Children's Program & Service: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM

• Sermon followed by Yizkor: 11:30 AM

• Mincha: 5:00 PM

• Neilah / Concluding Service: 6:00 PM

• Final Shofar & Fast Ends: 7:31 PM

• Community Break-Fast follows
